Homemade vanilla flavored coffee creamer

I love my coffee in the morning actually, I could drink coffee any time of the day. Plain old drip coffee, I don’t have a Keurig or a fancy espresso machine. I live in the Pacific NW so we drink a lot of coffee right? I don’t know if it’s true that we drink more coffee than other places in the US. I will tell you that we have a lot of dark, dreary, rainy days here and sometimes you just can’t drink enough coffee. You really need some kind of pickup to help get you out of that slump.
I have to have my liquid coffee creamer with my coffee, I think Coffeemate brand is my favorite but International Delight is usually cheaper. As much as I love those coffee creamers I know how bad they are health-wise. They are loaded with sugar and fat and Hydrogenated ingredients so I decided to make homemade vanilla flavored coffee creamer.

Homemade Vanilla Flavored Coffee Creamer

1 Mason Jar
14oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
14oz Milk (1%, 2%, whole, it’s your choice, I would recommend whole milk or even 1/2 & 1/2 to get the creamy consistency
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Just put all the ingredients in the jar and shake very well! Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
It’s been a struggle for me to get used to the difference. If you are used to the store-bought flavored coffee creamers this will be quite different. It’s not going to be the exact flavor and consistency of the store-bought. You do have to use more to get the same results. I used 1% milk, I think you would want to use whole milk to get a thicker creamier consistency.
