Have you checked out our $5 Meal Ideas page yet? We have an entire category devoted to $5 Meal Ideas, meals that cost around $5 to make for the family. It keeps growing as we add more meals and recipes. I also include the articles explaining how I get the meat to make $5 Meals or how to make Inexpensive homemade Broth to add to your $5 Meal. Here are some of the recipes that are included in that category.
These are meals that I used to feed my family of 3 for $5 but these meals could easily feed a family of 4. If you have a larger family you might have to shoot for $7 or $10 to feed the whole family. These are just ideas, you know what’s best for your family and what they will and won’t eat.
